The call of the track
In a few weeks, Formula 1 will return to the track, first with the three-day pre-season test in Bahrain from 21 to 23 February, then with the first GP of the year – also scheduled on the Sakhir circuit – which will exceptionally take place on Saturday March 2.
While waiting to return to populate the most important circuits around the world, however, the 20 drivers of the Circus don't miss the opportunity to stay in shape. This was the case, for example, of George Russell; the Mercedes standard bearer, who this year will face his third season with the Brackley team, has in fact spent one of the last 'free' weekends on a kart track before the start of the World Cup.
Exceptional coach
The Briton returned to karting and also acted as a driver teacher to an exceptional student. In fact, the little one took to the track with him Jack Wolffclass of 2017, obviously followed with a watchful eye by dad Toto Wolff.
It is not the first time that the Mercedes team principal takes his son to learn from drivers from the Mercedes school. In fact, exactly one year ago, in January 2023, it was Andrea Kimi Antonellia young prospect from the Brackley Academy, to teach the very young Jack.
