“Merck's three Italian sites located in Bari, Guidonia and Ivrea have achieved a reduction in CO2 emissions of 28% in the last two years. They reduced water consumption by 4%, increasing the percentage of recycled wastewater. In Ivrea there was a reduction of landfill disposal to 0%. This was stated by Teresa Rodò, Head of Global Healthcare Operations at Merck Group, during a meeting with the press at the Merck plant in Guidonia (Rome).
