Robe from Extremoduro cancels his concerts at WiZink due to illness

Roberto Iniesta, known as Robe, the former guitarist and singer of Extremoduro, has announced this Friday the cancellation of his concerts at the Madrid WiZink Center venue, scheduled for this Friday, November 15 and Saturday, the 16th and belonging to his tour Neither saints nor innocents.

The reason, as announced on their websiteis that the musician “has been diagnosed with pulmonary thromboembolism.” This forces him “to maintain complete rest, putting his health at serious risk otherwise.” A thromboembolism is a blockage of the blood vessels that carry oxygenated blood from the heart to the lungs.

“We are devastated that we will not be able to finish this wonderful tour as we had planned, but we are not going to put Robe’s health at risk for anything in the world,” his team added in the statement. The cancellation was announced around five in the afternoon, just two hours before the doors opened.

Ticket money will be refunded automatically next week.

Tickets were sold out for both dates, which means that around 24,000 people would have bought tickets for the highly anticipated concerts.
