F1 and Indy together in America
An all-open-wheel weekend awaits us and, above all, in a North American style. While Formula 1 will fly to Canada for the eighth round of the season on the Montreal circuit, IndyCar will end its streak of three consecutive weekends. After the Indianapolis 500 and the last event in Detroit, the top US series will return to the track in Road Americain Wisconsin, for the seventh round of the championship.
Back on a road one
An hour and a half after the green lights come on in Canada, the green flag will be waved at third-placed Road America road circuit this season after Barber Motorsport Park (Alabama) and Indianapolis (Indy Road), all this if we exclude the 1 Million Challenge held at Thermal Club but not valid for the championship.
The weekend program
So back on track after Detroit, a race characterized by eight Cautions and a brief rain that blew up all the strategic plans. Here too, there will be two possibilities to follow the event: while Free Practice and Qualifying will be exclusive to IndyCar Live (in streaming, upon subscription and with commentary in English), the race will be broadcast in Italy by Sky Sports Max Sunday 9 June starting at 9.30pm.
