The signed contract is multi-year, a sign of a shared and ambitious project, blessed by Martin’s best friend and outgoing Aprilia rider: Aleix Espargarò. The explicit reference to yesterday evening confirms how the whole operation only came to fruition in the excited days of Mugello, also thanks to Marquez’s clear rejection of the Pramac hypothesis, which derailed Ducati’s original plan. The ambition, however, is very clear: to finally conquer what would be a historic MotoGP world title.
