Residents of the town of Palos Marías, in Coahuayanathrough social networks, have raised their voices to denounce that members of the dangerous Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) have generated a wave of violence in this region of Michoacan and ask for help so that the situation is controlled.
In Facebook sales groups such as “Que vendes Coahuyana” an urgent call has been made to the Government of Mexico and the Government of Michoacán to intervene and eradicate the CJNG of the area.
In various messages shared from personal profiles they pray for “Peace for Coahuayana”, people from the region joined in prayers to denounce the seriousness of the situation that exists in Michoacan due to the presence of organized crime cells.
Meanwhile, the municipal government of Coahuayana has not issued any statement on the matter, maintaining total silence in the face of the violence unleashed in its territory.
Yesterday in the Brotherhood of Morelos, Tecomán, armed individuals, presumably from Jalisco New Generation Cartelthey kidnapped a man and blocked a highway adjacent to the state of Michoacán, at which point they set fire to two vehicles.
At the same time, armed clashes were reported in Coahuayana, along with explosive drone attacks. Residents have shared videos and publications that report these riots, confirmed by military and police sources.
The clashes take place in the Michoacan mountain range, where rival criminal cells confront each other, one local and another from Jalisco, according to authorities.
