Verstappen discovers the RB20
Max Verstappen exclaimed “Wow!” when he saw the design of the RB20. The Dutchman likes challenges and Red Bull – even as reigning champion – has put a very big one in front of him, because the Milton Keynes team has not been conservative, but has chosen an aggressive step forward compared to last year's concept.

The Dutchman, in any case, does not want comparisons with 2023, a season that he believes is unrepeatable: “These kinds of things are very hard to beat, I think. And I also think that's not our goal. I think the goal is just to try to provide another very competitive car and for my part, obviously, I will try to do my best. But this depends on many things that have to come together, so I think only time will tell how fast we will be“, this is the Dutchman's comment.
“Around us, the others are learning more and more. It doesn't mean that it always depends on us how satisfying the season will be, because if there is a more natural competition with different teams it is even more difficult to win the races“.
The filming day
The three-time world champion then commented on the filming day on Tuesday at Silverstone: “The track was slippery, wet and cold: everything went well but it's just a filming day. The car started well. On Tuesday it was just a matter of making sure that, once on track, the car worked, because from then on it would be shipped to Bahrain. And this is where you start to get to know the car better, develop a real program and carry out different types of tests“, he concluded. “Everyone is very motivated again. Of course we are all very proud of the results achieved last year and the years before, but we are also very proud of this car, in terms of development. We can't wait to start the season and hope to start fighting for victories again“.
