The midfielder Nemanja Gudelj has been a proper name in the run-up to the Sevilla-Real Sociedad match that takes place this Sunday at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán stadium. The Serbian footballer has received recognition for recently fulfilling the 200 official matches with the Sevilla team shirt.
Gudelj reached this figure in the Sevillian derby against Betis that took place on October 6 at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán and which ended with the result of 1-0. This Sunday the Sevilla team returned to face a match at their stadium after the two consecutive LaLiga away games against Barcelona (5-1) and Espanyol (0-2). Matches to which this Wednesday was added the first round of the Copa del Rey in which Sevilla beat Las Rozas by 0-2.
This Sunday, minutes before the start of the match against Real Sociedad in Nervión, Gudelj received a t-shirt with the number of matches achieved and the ovation from Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán.
So far this season, Gudelj has participated in ten of the twelve rounds of the championship in the First Division.
