The Holdim Group with the acquisition of the Emilian company Rail Srl aims to create innovative products for mobility with low environmental impact, with attention paid not only to biomethane, compressed and liquefied natural gas and LPG, but also tohydrogen and ai biofuels. Rail, with over 4 million injectors sold in thirty countries, has collaborated with the Chinese industry OEM and taxi fleets, also developing systems forapplication of hydrogen.
Who is the Rail company
Rail is a company founded in 2006 with the aim of designing, producing and marketing injectors for LPG/CNG systems in the automotive sector. It is located in Vezzano sul Crostolo, in the province of Reggio Emilia, and specializes in the design and production of injectors and valves for gaseous fuels and biofuels globally. The founders, Stevani Luigi and Grossi Rocco, have accumulated vast experience over time, developing increasingly specific technical skills in the design of these products. RAIL has cutting-edge and specific equipment, guaranteeing the production and testing of our products in compliance with current regulations regarding quality and safety.
Over the years, RAIL has expanded its presence globally, introducing different product/injector models that have helped make our brand known in over 30 countries around the world.
The entry of Rail Srl into the Holdim Group allows us to expand the offer in the alternative fuels and conversions sector. Within the Group Ecomotive Solutions presents the platform Dual Fuel Diesel to give new life for diesels through a dynamic blend of diesel and natural gas. In collaboration with Cavagna Groupthe group promotes advanced poly-fuel engines with a focus on low emissions.
Autogas Italia and Bigas, on the other hand, are consolidated brands in the gas transformation of vehicles and heavy vehicles, with innovative projects linked to the use of hydrogen, DME and dimethyl ether. Rail is necessary to study the use of hydrogen in heat engines. Experimentation activities with Italian and foreign universities also include methane conversion test of heavy vehicles, optimized for reduced emissions performance in partnership with the West Virginia University and theUniversity of Perugia.
Holdim Group's acquisition of Rail was completed on January 26 and Holdim Group founder, John Deregibusunderlined the importance of expanding the offer in the sector of alternative fuels and conversions.
