The so-called 'censored kiss', still visible on RaiPlay among the various scenes and interviews of the 'Gloria' series, concerns the moment in which the main actress celebrates the marriage between two actors, one of whom wears a uniform with the relevant headgear. Therefore, there was no censorship, but only a question of stage movement.

According to Rai Fiction, therefore, no black mark would have been applied to the shot. The gay kiss appears to have been hidden by the hat which one of the two actors raised to his face at that precise moment. The script indications, in fact, speak of a need to maintain a “moment of intimacy” with respect to the rest of the context. The controversy over the alleged censorship, however, has already started.
