In an interview for the 20th anniversary of the first Harry Potter film, Chris Columbus, director of this film, revealed that he would love to be in charge of an adaptation. The Cursed Child, a stage play that takes place years after the events of the last book, with the three original actors. However, Daniel Radcliffe, who was tasked with playing The Boy Who Lived, is not interested in reprising this role.
In a recent interview with The New York Times, Radcliffe noted that he has no interest in bringing Harry Potter to life once again.. This was what he commented:
“For me, it’s only been 10 years. It’s not something I’m really interested in right now.
I’m getting to a point where I feel like I came out of Harry Potter okay and I’m very happy with where I am now, and going back would be a huge change in my life. Never say never, but the Star Wars guys were like 30 or 40 years old before they came back.”
While Daniel Radcliffe doesn’t completely shut the door on Harry Potter, it is very likely that it will be a long time before the actor returns to do magic in an official way. Meanwhile, the actor will play ‘Weird’ Al Yankovic in the next biographical film of the musician.
On related topics, Hogwarts Legacy It’s coming to the Nintendo Switch. Similarly, this game will not have microtransactions.
Editor’s note:
Although many of us would like to see this actor once again as Harry Potter, we must also understand that the magical world was all that Daniel knew for much of his life, so it makes a lot of sense that the playwright seeks to explore other facets. of your working life.
