Psol said it will pay off the campaign debts of the now federal deputy Guilherme Boulos (Psol-SP) contracted in the 2018 election, when he was a candidate for President of the Republic. The current pre-candidate for mayor of São Paulo owes R$ 44,443.60 to IRS. The information was initially published by Look and confirmed by Power360.
The debt appears on the CNPJ of the company named “2018 Election Guilherme Castro Boulos Presidente”. All candidates must open a company to provide campaign accounts, according to the party.
“The CNPJ mentioned in the report is not from a company, but from the 2018 presidential campaign. The debts mentioned in the report are campaign debts that will be paid off by Psol”said the acronym in a note sent to the Power360.
There are 2 debts on the CNPJ: one for R$35,133.31 and the other for R$9,310.29. The representative's office did not say why the debts are open.
According to the Attorney General of the National Treasurythe values are relative to the contributions of insured people, that is, debts with Social Security. The debts are registered in the Union's Active Debt.
Guilherme Boulos will run for mayor of São Paulo in 2024. The ticket will include the former mayor of the capital of São Paulo Marta Suplicywhose membership of the PT is scheduled for February 2nd.
