Juarez City.- The City Commission for the Review of Subdivisions and Condominiums met with the General Directorate of Urban Development to present the distribution plan for more than 12 million pesos allocated to community works through the Transfer of Urban Potential (TPU).
Councilman Antonio Domínguez Alderete, coordinator of the Commission, together with councilors Ana Carmen Estrada García and Mireya Porras Armendáriz, met with the director of Urban Development (DU), Claudia Morales Medina, to learn about the projects that will be carried out with TPU funds.
The director of DU explained that the company Condominio Industrial Logistics Industrial Park will allocate one million 950 thousand pesos for the construction of sidewalks on the east side of Camino a Escudero street, between Tomás Fernández boulevard.
“This project aims to provide a sidewalk for the safety of pedestrians in the area,” said the municipal official.
On the other hand, the company responsible for the Portales de San Francisco subdivision will invest two million 625 thousand pesos in the creation of a pedestrian median and the adaptation of sidewalks on Aldabas Street, between Camino a Escudero and Francisco Villarreal streets.
Morales added that the company in charge of the Creta Residencial Privada project will install public lighting on Ramón Rayón Avenue, from Waterfill Avenue to Manuel Gómez Morín Boulevard. The project, with an estimated cost of eight million pesos, will include 2.2 kilometers of lighting, 64 flying buttresses and 67 lights.
Domínguez Alderete highlighted the importance of the Transfer of Urban Potential as a mechanism to benefit the community and comply with the obligations of developers.
