Ukraine, Tusk: “Poland is Kiev's most faithful ally against Moscow, there are differences but we want to resolve them”
The Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk is visiting Ukraine and, as expected, met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal. Tusk also paid tribute to the soldiers who fell in the nearly two-year war with Russia.
“Today we had very productive negotiations with the Prime Minister Polish Donald Tusk on all aspects of our bilateral relations”, wrote Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on social media. “There is a new Polish defense package. We appreciate Poland's continued support and the new military aid package for Ukraine, as well as a new form of cooperation aimed at large-scale arms purchases for Ukrainian needs – a Polish loan for Ukraine.”

Today with the Prime Minister – continued the Ukrainian president – we also discussed the possibility of future joint production of weapons” then underlining his gratitude to Poland for its “unwavering support and the new military aid packages for Ukraine.
Prime Minister Tusk, for his part – reports RaiNews – wanted to reiterate: “The war in Ukraine is a struggle between good and evil. There is nothing more important than supporting Ukraine in its efforts against Russian aggression.” The Polish head of state added that his visit aims above all to demonstrate “that lPoland is the most credible and faithful ally in this deadly confrontation with evil“. Tusk assured that he will discuss with his Ukrainian interlocutors the possibility of “mobilizing the West for more energetic actions” in favor of Kiev. “This is not an issue unique to Ukraine, but to the entire free world,” he underlined.
“There are conflicts of interest, we know this well and we will talk about it, not only in a spirit of friendship, which is obvious, but with the desire to resolve these problems as soon as possible, not to maintain or multiply them”, said the Polish prime minister , Donald Tusk, during his visit to Kiev as reported by his office on X.
