The voting percentage has risen to the highest in the constituencies of Pirkanmaa, Satakunta and Lapland, where the proportion of voters has risen to over 30 percent. In Pirkanmaa, 31.9 percent have already voted.
Six years ago, the voter turnout in the presidential election was 69.9 percent among eligible voters living in Finland. At that time, only one round was needed, because Sauli Niinistö received 62.6 percent of the votes and was directly elected to the next season.
