Presentation Williams FW46, the Vowles trust
The 2024 Formula 1 season comes to life, and does so with the first presentations of the new cars. The classic archived render of Haas, today is the day of Williams and Stake: the Grove team has just unveiled the FW46 in New York, the car which in the team's intentions must continue the excellent path started by the FW45, capable of being seventh on the grid last year.
Team principal James Vowles he is very confident about 2024: for the Briton, Williams can and must do even better, considering that Alex Albon is a certainty, Logan Sargeant will already have a year of experience under his belt and the whole team is confident after the improving results.
Vowles' words
“It is a significant achievement to unveil the 2024 livery in an iconic location like New York City. The FW46 has been the focus of the team's attention for many months and there is still a huge commitment from everyone at Grove to deliver our car this year“, commented Vowles. “With Alex and Logan we have a driver line-up capable of constantly fighting for points and to guide our development for the future“.
“Since joining Williams a year ago, I have seen this team come together to overcome a series of challenges and take seventh place in the Constructors' Championship, which has meant a lot to everyone involved. We have also shown the world that we are building the foundation to move forward“, he continued. “Of course we still have a long way to go together, but I know that our fans, partners and all employees at Grove headquarters are pushing in unison to create a new historical page for this team. It will take time, but everyone's support is critical to helping us achieve success in the future. I can't wait to see what this season has in store for us“.
