“It is not the strongest species that survives, nor the most intelligent, but the one that responds best to change”: Charles Darwin
In a world that evolves in a rush, where professional development is required to be dynamic and up-to-date, our country parks itself in the practices of the last century, and just when our country finds significant lags in all the indicators for which it is responsible Government, when reality and challenges demand ingenuity and transformation, when we are losing the race for the modernization of the rest of the countries in the region, Mexico is asleep in an orbit that still transmits signals in black and white.
Given the size of the challenges, public service requires more than good intentions, it requires putting the best profiles and the most prepared to work; however, the public service does not offer or incorporate absolutely anything that helps the growth of the personnel at its disposal or to make the tasks of its obligations more efficient, the public administration has hidden itself from modernization, if it could, it would continue writing letters on a typewriter writing and using the telegram when something was urgent, while technology offers tools that allow immediacy, certainty, comfort, precise measurements, governments continue to handle trade with little stamps of receipt.
On the side of the needs of the population, if our governments do not grow and evolve at the pace of reality, this stagnation generates setbacks, while on the human side, those who decide to exercise the office of public servants are not offered options for growth in its passage through the governments, which by nature is ephemeral, since it does not offer certainty when the appointments are discretionary for the rulers in turn.
The dictionary defines as stagnant that which is paralyzed, that does not evolve, that does not develop, the dictionary could use a photo of the Mexican government to finish defining the word, in a society that is increasingly demanding, that is transformed, that demands, which becomes more heterogeneous, which grows, which requires, which needs, where resources and facilities are exhausted, governments park themselves in mediocrity, in the past, in involution.
We want better results, but we apply the same formulas of a past that already led us to the precipice and believe me, the results will come very soon, but they will be catastrophic. Or do you think that Checo Pérez would ever have won a Formula 1 race riding a donkey?
