Seeking to qualify for the Paris Olympic Games, Brazil faced Paraguay, this Monday (5) at the Brigido Iriarte stadium, in Caracas (Venezuela), in their first commitment in the final quadrangular of the Pre-Olympic. However, the team led by coach Ramon Menezes ended up being defeated 1-0 in a match in which striker Endrick wasted a penalty kick.
The setback was marked by the weak performance of the Brazilian team. Brazil even created good opportunities to open the scoring with Endrick, with a penalty kick that ended up in the hands of goalkeeper Ángel González in the 27th minute of the first half, and with John Kennedy, who sent it out in the 43rd minute.

If the Brazilian team did not show efficiency in their opportunities, Paraguay did not fail when the chance appeared, with Peralta heading in just before the break. In the final stage, coach Ramon Menezes changed some pieces, but was unable to lead the Canarian team to a comeback.
Now Brazil measures forces with Venezuela from 8pm (Brasília time) next Thursday (8). In the first phase of the competition, the Brazilians were defeated 3-1 by the Venezuelans.
