PRD loses points in Yucatán: Candidate Tina Tuyub declined in favor of Huacho Díaz de Morena

The Party of the Democratic Revolution (PRD) lost important votes in the state of Yucatan, after the gubernatorial candidate for this party, Jasmin Lopez Manrique “Tina Tuyub”, will decline in favor of Joaquin Diaz Menaflag bearer of Morena-PT-PVEM.

During the closing of the campaignHuacho” Díaz Menawhich also included the candidate for the presidency of the Republic, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardothe PRD standard bearer said she was a faithful follower of the Fourth Transformation led by the National Regeneration Movement party (Morena).

During the campaign closing event and shortly before the presidential candidate took the floor, Morena’s standard bearer to lead the state of Yucatán asked Tina Tuyub to go on stage.

The now former PRD candidate went up excited and recognized the president Andrés Manuel López Obrador as a historical leader, so he chose to decline and ask his supporters to vote for Morena.

Likewise, he recalled that he has already worked for AMLO, which is why he considers himself a López Obradorist:

“This work of the Fourth Transformation is no stranger to me, I started with Andrés Manuel López Obrador in 2006. I am no stranger to the 4T, I have worked with him in the Broad Progressive Front. I went to Mexico, I was at the sit-ins, I do not belong to any party, I am López Obradorist. They need me in Morena and here I am,” he said.

Although she did not give more details about her decision to abandon the race, Jasmín López Manrique reiterated her support for Sheinbaum and Díaz Mena, who she said is what Yucatán needs: because he is honest and wants to work and among his convictions is also “First the poor”.

After being asked what would happen on Sunday, June 2, since her name is on the ballots, she explained that she will vote for Joaquín Díaz Mena and, in addition, will walk the last days of the campaign with him.

“Today I come to reaffirm my fidelity and commitment to Mexico, I decline in favor of Dr. Claudia Sheinbaum, as well as I want to ask all my friends, followers and my political group to support Joaquín Díaz Mena as Governor,” he expressed.
