The boy was last seen on a playground in Hagen. The police are asking for information.
Hagen – The police have been searching for a missing eight-year-old child from Hagen in North Rhine-Westphalia since yesterday evening. Mohamed, who has autism, was last seen yesterday at around 7:40 p.m. on a playground in downtown Hagen, the police said.
He is 1.30 meters tall, of strong build and wearing blue trousers, a dark brown sweater with white stripes and red-brown shoes.
The case is reminiscent of that of six-year-old Arian from Bremervörde-Elm in Lower Saxony, who has been missing since April 22. The last search for the child, who is also autistic, ended unsuccessfully last Thursday. The Arian case is special, but not an isolated incident. Almost 10,000 people are reported missing in Germany. dpa
