The Pokémon Company announces today Masked Twilightthe new expansion of Trading Card Game (TCG) Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. The new cards will be available next May 24th at all authorized retailers and will contain the creatures originally discovered in the Treasure of the World DLCArea Zero Part 1: The Turquoise Mask for the Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet video games For Nintendo Switch.

NEW EXPANSION ANNOUNCED FOR THE TRADING CARD GAME POKÉMON SCARLET AND VIOLET – MASKED TWILIGHT
With this new expansion, the Legendary Pokémon Ogerpon will make its debut in the Pokémon TCG, with 6 new dedicated cards
March 14, 2024 – Today, The Pokémon Company International announced that the next expansion of the very popular Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG)., Scarlet and Violet – Masked Twilightwill be available starting from May 24, 2024 at authorized resellers worldwide. The expansion Scarlet and Violet – Masked Twilight will mark the debut in the Pokémon TCG of Pokémon originally discovered in the downloadable content The Treasure of Area Zero Part 1: The Turquoise Mask for video games Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet. Among others, they are on the way Okidogi, Munkidori, Fezandipiti and the Legendary Pokémon Ogerponwhich will appear in the form of four distinct ones Pokémon-ex Teracristal (Grass, Fire, Water and Fighting-types) based on his four masks.
Players can enjoy battling Ogerpon-exes of different types using Ogre's Mask, a new Item card that allows you to replace any Ogerpon-ex in play with another Ogerpon-ex in the discard pile. To celebrate Ogerpon's debut in the Pokémon TCG, they have been revealed six new cards of the expansion starring the Mask Pokémon: Ogerpon Turquoise Mask-ex, Ogerpon Hearth Mask-ex, Ogerpon Well Mask-ex, Ogerpon Fondamenta Mask-ex, Ogerpon Turquoise Mask and Ogre Mask. Other noteworthy cards from this expansion include:
- Six rare cards TACTICAL ACEbetween Trainer cards and Special Energy
- Seven Pokémon-exes and seven Pokémon-exes Teracristal
- 21 rare Pokémon illustration cards
- 11 rare special illustration cards, including Pokémon and Helper cards
- Six specially imprinted hyper-golden rare cards
The cards of the expansion Scarlet and Violet – Masked Twilight they will be available in booster packs, Star Player Trainer sets and special collections at authorized retailers worldwide.
Pokémon TCG fans will also have the opportunity to play the expansion Scarlet and Violet – Masked Twilight before the official publication by participating in one of the many prerelease tournaments which will take place as part of the competitive program Play! Pokémon starting May 11th at i shopkeepers independents who join the initiative.
Additionally, before the release of the tabletop version, Trainers will be able to play with from May 23, 2024 Scarlet and Violet – Masked Twilight digitally on the app Pokémon TCG Live for iOS, Android, macOS and Windows devices, collecting and battling with new cards featuring Ogerpon-ex and receiving game bonuses when they log in to the app.
