The service, which seems scheduled for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, should be launched in the spring 2022, and will combine the existing ones in a single subscription PlayStation Plus And PlayStation Now. According to the documents, Sony plans to keep PlayStation Plus as the official nomenclature, phasing out the PlayStation Now brand. Although the details have not yet been finalized, the Spartacus project documents speak of three different levels of membership:
- Level 1 – Includes the benefits of the existing PlayStation Plus service.
- Level 2 – Includes a large catalog of PlayStation 4 titles and, sooner or later, PlayStation 5.
