As of August, Twitter accounts @AskPlayStation serving the Americas, Europe, Australia and New Zealand will cease to offer individual customer support.
They currently offer individual customer support to players seven days a week. “Starting August 1st, PlayStation 1 to 1 support via Twitter will no longer be available“, the account tweeted this week. Starting next month, players are advised to seek support via the PlayStation website and one of its YouTube channels.
The reaction from users on Twitter was mixed: some criticized the service for never being up to par in helping people who had problems with the console, while others said they were sorry for the interruption.
