After a couple of rumors, it has been confirmed that Days of Play 2024 is a reality. This event will begin this week, and will give users the opportunity to PlayStation to enjoy hundreds of offersdiscounts and additional promotions, both in the PlayStation Store, as well as in PlayStation Direct.
The new edition of Days of Play will take place between May 29 and June 12. Throughout these almost three weeks, all PlayStation 4 and 5 users will be able to enjoy hundreds of discounts in the PlayStation Store, including flash sales that will only last 24 hours.
With this, Between May 29 and June 9, new players who join PlayStation Plus can save up to 30% on a 12-month subscription plan. Meanwhile, current members can get 25% off PlayStation Plus Extra or save 30% on PlayStation Plus Deluxe for the remainder of their subscription if they upgrade their subscriptions between May 29 and June 12.
This is not all, since it has been confirmed that next month we will see SpongeBob Squarepants: The Cosmic Shake, AEW Fight Forever and Streets of Rage 4 join the PlayStation Plus Essential catalog. As if that were not enough, PlayStation VR games also join the Deluxe catalog. These are:
- Ghostbusters: Rise of the Ghost Lord
- Walkabout Mini Golf
- Synth Riders
- Before Your Eyes
- The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners – Chapters 1 & 2
Along with this, it has been confirmed that PlayStation 2 emulation is finally coming to this serviceand the first confirmed games are: Tomb Raider Legend, Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus. Last but not least, these titles will be available on PS Plus starting with the Extra subscription:
- Dredge | PS4, PS5 (available May 29)
- Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 | PS4 (available May 31)
- Cricket 24 | PS4, PS5 (available June 5)
- Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas – The Definitive Edition | PS4, PS5 (available June 7)
Remember, Days of Play will take place between May 29 and June 12. Usually, a PlayStation Showcase is also held during this time, although at the moment we have no official information about it.
