The person in charge of materializing the leak of the confidential information of Isabel Díaz Ayuso’s boyfriend, Pilar Sánchez Acera, has held both elected and trusted positions. From Madrid and with a degree in Business from the Autonomous University of Madrid, she began to flirt with politics as an active member of the Socialist Youth in Alcobendas. It was there where she had her first position, initially as a councilor and then as deputy mayor in the city council of the town. A member of the Socialist Party of Madrid, she served, between 2015 and 2022, as deputy spokesperson for the Socialist Group in the Assembly. Before that, he tried to lead the PSM by maintaining a fight in the 2012 primaries with Tomás Gómez, later elected with 59.22% of the votes and dismissed in 2015 by Pedro Sánchez, already Secretary General, due to the Parla Tram scandal. After the defeat, Sánchez Acera continued working for the party until she managed to be elected on Ángel Gabilondo’s list in 2015 and there she continued until 2022, a stage in which the PSM was already – since 2021 – chaired by Juan Lobato, so knows him well. In January 2023, she moved to more shadowy jobs, as Chief of Staff to Óscar López, then Director of Staff to Pedro Sánchez. Last September, when the President of the Government appointed López Minister for Digital Transformation, he took her with him.
