Painting is part of the fine arts, and just like sculpture, architecture, literature, dance, music and cinema, it has no barriers, knows no borders, and that is why the Venezuelan painter Gabriel Miranda, of Spanish descent, arrived with his exhibition, 1900 greys, at the Ángela Peralta Theater Gallery, which was inaugurated last Friday night.
The exhibited collection is made up of 12 large paintings, most of which have a gray hue, fused with magenta, green and yellow tones. The result is “beautiful” postcards, full of nostalgia, that captivate the critical eyes that contemplate it, the painter highlighted.. He explained that he chose the name of his exhibition based on the 19th century, and portrays the winter that is lived in Galicia, where he grew up next to his parents.
