Orders are now open for the new Peugeot E-5008, the large SUV from the Lion brand that will be available in the electric version as well as the plug-in hybrid and Hybrid versions. There are two trim levels in the range, Allure and GT, with prices starting from 47,730 euros.
The electric version
The new Peugeot E-5008 is equipped with an engine capable of delivering 210 hp (157 kW) and 345 Nm of torque, combined with a high-voltage lithium-ion battery with a net capacity of 73 kWh. Thanks to efficient aerodynamics (SCx of 0.77), it guarantees a range of 502 km (WLTP combined cycle). Charging is optimised with features such as a Mode 4 socket that accepts a speed of up to 160 kW at ultrafast DC columns, allowing a rapid charge of 100 km of range in just 10 minutes and a charge from 20% to 80% in just 30 minutes. This full electric version has a price list that starts at 47,730 euros for the Allure trim and 52,180 euros for the GT. The new E-5008 benefits from the Allure Care program, which covers the entire vehicle (including the electric motor, charger, transmission and main electrical and mechanical components) for up to 8 years or 160,000 kilometers. Peugeot Allure Care integrates the Lion car manufacturer’s warranty that applies to the high-voltage battery for a duration of 8 years/160,000 km to offer complete vehicle coverage and maximum peace of mind.
The PHEV variant of Peugeot 5008
The electric version is joined by the Plug-in Hybrid 195 e-DCS7. This PHEV variant combines a 92 kW (125 hp) electric motor with a 150 hp internal combustion engine for a combined power of 195 hp. Its 17.8 kWh battery allows a 100% electric driving range of up to 82 km (WLTP combined cycle). The plug-in hybrid version of the French brand’s large SUV is available at a price of 47,950 euros in the Allure version and 52,400 euros in the GT version.
And the hybrid
The range also includes the Peugeot 5008 Hybrid 136 e-DCS6, which is equipped with a 48 V system, consisting of a new-generation 136 HP petrol engine, combined with a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission that integrates an electric motor. Thanks to the battery that recharges while driving, this technology provides additional torque at low revs and a reduction of up to 15% in fuel consumption (5.8 l/100 km combined WLTP cycle) compared to the petrol equivalent. This version is available at a price of 41,700 euros in the Allure version and 45,850 euros in the GT version.
