Pentagon confirms US strikes in Syria in response to attack on base in Jordan
The US has begun carrying out strikes in the Middle East in response to a recent drone attack on a US base in northeast Jordan, it has been confirmed RIA News at the Pentagon.
“They have now begun,” said a US defense official, explaining that media reports of the strikes were premature.
