Passenger truck overturned on the Altar-Santa Ana section in Sonora; list of the 15 injured

A passenger truck overturned early yesterday morning, Tuesday, June 4, in the Altar-Santa Ana road sectionin the state of Sonora, leaving a balance of 15 people injured who were transferred to hospitals to receive medical attention.

It’s about a Elite line passenger bus with economic number 10119, which overturned at around 5:00 a.m. at kilometer 11 of the aforementioned section, according to reports from the Santa Ana rescue forces.

Elements of Firefighters, paramedics from the Red Cross, elements of the National Highway Guard, the State Coordination of Civil Protection, as well as various security and rescue forces went to the scene of the accident to help the injured and support with the necessary work.

A total of 15 people who were injured due to the accident were taken to hospitals for medical attention. Later, the authorities announced the injured list:

2- Giveny Fernando A., (co-pilot driver), 46-year-old male, from Mexico City (Tijuana to Iguala, Guerrero)

3- María Francisca M., 56-year-old female, from Culiacán, Sinaloa (was traveling from Tijuana to Culiacán).

4- José Fabián A., (driver), 25-year-old male, Ciudad Obregón (Mexicali to Ciudad Obregón).

5- Humberto G., 76-year-old male, from Mexicali (Mexicali to Durango)

7- Reynaldo M., 31-year-old male, from Sonoyta (Sonoyta to Ahueahuepa, Guerrero)

8- Minerva M., 48-year-old female, from Guerrero (Mexicali to Ahueahuepa, Guerrero)

9- Pablo S., 53-year-old male, from Cuernavaca, Morelos.

10- Colin Aldain, 24-year-old male, from Hermosillo.

11- Rocío Elizabeth A., 51-year-old female

12- José Luis T., 59-year-old male.

13- Abigail B., 65-year-old female.

14. Conrada C., 57-year-old female, from San Luis Río Colorado (SLRC to Culiacán).

Patient transferred to IMSS Bienestar Magdalena Hospital:

15- María Hortencia P., 64-year-old female, from Nayarit.

According to unofficial information, one of the passengers was seriously injured after the vehicle crushed one of his arms, although his current health situation is unknown.

So far, the causes that caused the bus driver to lose control and end up overturning on the road are unknown.
