In remake of a great game
For those who don’t know it, Paper Mario: The Millennial Portal is the remake of the popular RPG released way back in 2004 on GameCube, which on Nintendo Switch can boast a higher resolution and better quality textures, lighting, geometries, animations and more that make the images on the screen even more lively and vibrant than in the past. Furthermore, we move from the 4:3 video format used on good old cathode ray tube TVs to the 16:9 standard of today.
The sound has also been revamped and some gameplay changes and tweaks have been added to improve the experience of a game that was already fundamentally amazing at the time. If you want to know more, please refer to our review of Paper Mario: The Millennial Portal for Nintendo Switch. In the game, Mario is invited to the city of Rogueport by Peach, who claims to have discovered the secret behind a large treasure hidden inside. Clearly things won’t go in the best way and the mustachioed plumber will have to set off on an adventure, both to shed light on the mystery behind the Millennial Portal and to save Peach for the umpteenth time from the bad guys on duty.
