Pan American Games: Luis Díaz asks Panam Sports to return headquarters to Barranquilla

Colombia still waiting and without losing hope that he can still organize the 2027 Pan American Games that he lost due to non-compliance.

The entity gave the country 90 days to pay the outstanding $8 million. Petro is not going to Chile

On January 9, President Petro held a press conference to define the roadmap to try to recover the venue of the Pan American Games, which was lost due to the lack of timely payment of the rights. In this he announced that part of the strategy was to take advantage of the trip to Chile, in which he was going to visit the Colombian ship that is currently in Antarctica, to meet with Neven IllicExecutive President of Panam Sports.
