Palworld referred to by the internet populace as the “Pokémon with guns,” is now available and already getting a excellent public success. Currently, the title has an average user review rating of “very positive” on Steam.
Despite this, several Pokémon fans have taken issue with the nature of the project, due to some similarities between the creatures present in Palworld and those of the iconic Nintendo franchise.
This has provoked a heated debate on social media, with some fans pointing out that many of Palworld's creature designs are, according to their analysis, real plagiarisms.

Actually, Cinderace funnily enough has the best chance of getting Palworld sold by the Pokemon Company

People told me that there are hundreds of original designs and not everyone was a blatant copy of a Pokémon.
Guess what? I've seen the rest and with no surprise, 90% of them are definitely a copy of existing Pokémon, with some of them literally having parts of their models.

The project development team, i.e Pocketpairhas so far sent the comparisons with Pokémon back to the sender, highlighting the presence of survival elements similar to titles like Ark: Survival Evolved.
As things stand now, it's unlikely that complaints from Pokémon fans will dampen Palworld's success. Obviously, it remains to be seen whether Nintendo is interested in investigate the matter first hand.
