London – With the British King Charles III. has been diagnosed with cancer. During his recent treatment in hospital for benign prostate enlargement, another problem was noticed, Buckingham Palace said. The subsequent diagnostic tests would have detected a form of cancer.
His Majesty has started regular treatments, the statement continued. Doctors advised him not to attend any public appointments during this time. He will continue state affairs.
King Charles (75) has been British monarch for more than a year. The palace said the king was grateful to his medical team for their quick intervention.
