However, things were not going to go so well, and now, it is confirmed that the game suffered from an attack DDoS shortly after being released.
Upon launch, the servers were immediately hit, preventing most players from logging in. Queues were made with numbers of up to 40,000 users waiting to enter. That means that several people were eager to enter the new installment, whether they are veterans or newcomers to this competitive title.
the president of Blizzard, Mike Ybarraconfirmed in Twitter that Overwatch two you are experiencing a DDoS attack, which happens when someone overloads the servers by flooding them with traffic and requests. Blizzard is working to fix the issue, but it is unclear when it will be resolved.
