Our rightsour obligations; our aspirationsour Actions; our silences, our fears; our apathy, our resignation.
How many of our rights we have resigned and how many of our obligations we have ignored.
We have given up the right to be for or against an ideological position.
We have renounced the great truth that democracy is, and has been, the product of citizen struggles.
We have been negligent in our obligation to visualize and confront the structural problems of our country, such as poverty, corruption, violence, health problems, education, etc.
It seems that we forget or try to ignore that the social problems of a nation can only be overcome by society itself.
Fortunately, society, en masse, reminded us on November 13, 2022 and February 26, 2023, that the people of Mexico are standing up, waking up and that spontaneously a large part of Mexicans are willing to take the reins of the country, to demonstrate and show us that the strength of society is present.
It awakens the illusion that now society will find a way to put our country back on track and assume responsibility for building its future.
It seems that the dream is materializing that Mexican society takes out caste and fights, without antagonisms or protagonisms, without divisions or discrimination, let's fight for the Mexico that we owe to children and young people.
It seems that most Mexicans are aware that Mexico's progress lies in unity, harmony, teamwork, inclusion and respect for both the laws and the rights of others.
For a dignified and united Mexico, let us make a pact to support each and every one of the intentions to improve this country that is rich by nature, but ironically poor due to lack of will and unity.
Let us assert our citizen rights without ever forgetting our obligations.
Thank you.
