There’s a popular saying which rightly says: “Evil of many, consolation of fools“And it is very true, only fools can console themselves by seeing the misfortune of others, our misfortune will never be more bearable if a significant number of people suffer it.
It is a fool who tries to use as consolation the fact that there are many people suffering from the same problem.
Of course, not everything in life is that simple, but if we analyze events objectively, we should accept that in no way does the success of my neighbors cause me harm and that it is easier to become poor in a country of rich people than to become poor. if we live in a country of pure poor.
Poverty is not fought by making the rich poor, it is fought by generating strategies so that the poor stop being poor.
The RAE dictionary defines envy as the “feeling of sadness or anger experienced by a person who does not have or would like to have for themselves something that another person has.” It can also be classified as an “unhealthy passion that affects the person who experiences it more than the person who awakens it.”
Therefore, wishing for the failure of others in the absence of one’s own success can be defined as envy, that unhealthy passion that affects the mentally handicapped.
It is not valid to bow to the popular saying “in the country of the blind, the one-eyed is king” nor are we one-eyed, nor will we be blind; Let us be kings of dignity, work, effort and tolerance.
The tendency to blame others for our misfortunes, to envy instead of redoubling our efforts, to wish for the failure of others, renouncing our responsibility to give everything to advance, that is the renunciation with which we dig the grave of our essence and dignity. .
Mexico will be great when we Mexicans are great and we will be great when we decide.
