Organic rooibos and basil tea, salmonella alert. Here’s which brand to avoid
Yet another food scare. The Ministry of Health reported the recall by the operator of two batches of organic rooibos and basil tea under the Dharma Té brand. He writes it Fatto Alimentare.it. The reason stated on the recall notice is the presence of salmonella in the product. The affected packages are boxes of 15 pyramid filters, and are part of batch number L2350 with the best before date (TMC) 12/2025 and number L2334 with the TMC 08/2025.
The Spanish company Azaconsa SL produced the recalled organic rooibos and basil tea, marketed in Italy by the company Breskui Srl. For this reason, packages with Spanish wording (rooibos y albahaca) may also be found on the Italian market, which can also be purchased online.
