The events date back to April 2023, when the vicar of the Opus Dei delegation in the Northeast of the peninsula “was informed of alleged criminal conduct of a crime of sexual abuse of a minor, attributed to a lay faithful of the Prelature and occurred within the scope of a youth association in Vigo.” The accused performed functions of coach and spiritual advisor.
