Famitsu shared data from sale of video games and consoles for Japanese soil for the week from May 27th to June 2nd. As regards the hardware ranking, it is made up as follows:
- Switch OLED Model – 36,567 (7,335,361)
- PlayStation 5 – 17,046 (4,875,423)
- Switch Lite – 8,905 (5,864,487)
- PlayStation 5 Digital Edition – 5,501 (785,886)
- Switches – 3,516 (19,800,873)
- Xbox Series
- Xbox Series S – 782 (313,711)
- PlayStation 4 – 177 (7,926,222)
The data are the classic ones, with Switch that dominates, PS5 following and Xbox Series X|S struggling to place units. We also note that no 2DS, which pop up in the charts from time to time, were sold.

As is typical, physical games for Nintendo Switch dominate, with only Stellar Blade managing to keep up with the big N and placing a PS5 title in fifth position. The usual well-known names of Nintendo do well, occupying seven positions out of ten. The only new addition is TOKYO PSYCHODEMIC, a dramatic detective game that has a negative user rating on Steam, although it can only count on 50 Japanese reviews (there is no English version).
