The impact has also reached special boxes, such as the one located at the College of High School Students of the State of Chihuahua (cobach) campus 7, located in the Nuevo Juárez neighborhood, which in the absence of officials asked four citizens in line to join the process.
Likewise, in one of the most crowded spaces such as the Central Parkan emblematic recreation site and a recurring site for special polling stations, the opening of the voting centers had not been consolidated after 10:00 in the morning.
Some party representatives have expressed concern about the lack of voting points throughout the municipality.
“I would like to know what we can do as a party because it is very worrying that there are so few open boxes, it is worrying.”said Héctor Ortiz Orpinel, representative of the National Regeneration Movement party (Morena).
Neighbors have organized to respond, even convening in groups through social networks to complete the number of polling station officials required for the elections.
“I participated in 2021, they told me when I arrived because they were missing people and my neighbor and I came. Now people were also missing and we support here at the Rafael Ramírez primary school. It is easy and it is to be friendly, you know the neighbors and then you welcome them”, commented citizen Martha Laura.
