The new season of the live action of One Piece Filming is in full swing, the new cast members are announced cautiously as the days go by, however, this is not enough to satisfy the doubts of the fans who find different nods to how the advertising of the new production is developing.
One Piece The live action series is gradually announcing its new cast. It was recently confirmed who will play Nico Robin, although we are still waiting to find out who could be Chopper. While that happens, part of the publicity has been compromised by new inquiries about who we could see in the second season.
One of the behind-the-scenes videos shows a wig that stands out: it’s an afro and could belong to Brooks, the jocular (in)lovely skeleton. At least, it’s a possibility, although it’s a low one, it should be noted.
Without being too much of a party pooper, we know that everyone wants to see Brooks soon, however, let’s remember that the second season will only adapt from the Loguetown arc to Drum Island and since Brooks appears until the Thriller Bark arc, it doesn’t seem like it will be possible to see him in the second season of One Piece live action.
However, other characters who wear afros and appear in the aforementioned arcs are Zala and Kuromarimo, who are important in the arcs to be adapted. There is still a long way to go before we can see Brooks on screen, so it seems we will have to wait patiently. If you want to take a closer look at the wigs we are referring to, play the video from minute 1:00.
Thanks to the set tour we are also able to see some of the amazing live action infrastructure. It’s crazy!

When does One Piece live action season 2 come out?
The second season of One Piece Live action is in production, a new installment is expected to arrive at the end of 2025, seeing the current development.
The first installment is available as a Netflix exclusive and featured eight episodes.
Let’s remember that the first season was really applauded due to two issues. The first is that the cast had an ideal performance, while the second refers to the fact that Eiichiro Oda, the mangaka, was very attentive to the details of the adaptation. The bar for the new season is quite high, let’s see the path of Monkey D. Luffy now in live action format.
