Two announcements in one day
Big news in the United States for the next IndyCar season, the first which will take place entirely with the new 2.2 twin-turbo V6 engines, the same ones that will open the hybrid era of the category in just under a month on the Midtown circuit -Ohio. The top North American open-wheel championship has in fact announced an agreement reached with FOX Sportswhich will exclusively broadcast all the matches of the next championship in the USA.
The Thermal Club valid for the championship
To this official status was added the presentation of the 2025 calendar, with few but interesting news about it. Unlike this year, in fact, there will not be a double-header Milwaukee Milewith a single race on this oval and with the double appointment in a single weekend which will also take place in Iowa. This change, however, will keep the number unchanged 17 races already present in 2024. This season, in fact, the $1 Million Challenge was held on the Californian road course The Thermal Club, not valid for the championship. In 2025 this test will be valid in all respects for the title fight.
