No Red Bull, at least not in 2025
The pilots market it lit up earlier than you might expect in F1. The renewals of Charles Leclerc and Lando Norris, combined with the Lewis Hamilton-Ferrari operation of the century with a view to 2025, have suddenly turned on the lights of the 'silly season' which now sees Carlos Sainz looking for a place for 2025, the season for which there is a free seat in Mercedes.
Helmut Marko underlined that Daniel Ricciardo cannot be a candidate for the Brackley team – which could focus on Andrea Kimi Antonelli in the event of a convincing year in F2 – given that the Australian has been placed in the 'safe' on a contractual level by Red Bull, which according to journalist Peter Windsor has put on the 'plate' of Alexander Albon a three-year contract starting from 2025 to bring the rider of Thai origins back to Milton Keynes after the experience between the second half of 2019 and 2020.
The Williams team principal, James Vowleson the occasion of the presentation of the FW46 he underlined that Alexander's contract is not expiring: “There have been many rumors and I usually don't stop to give denials, but in this case I underline that Alexander Albon he signed with Williams until 2025“. So no Red Bull again for the 1996 class, at least not next year.
