NIXON DELIVERS THE MATERIAL ON WATERGATE. Washington. President Richard Nixon has already delivered all the material that had been requested by the special prosecutor of the Watergate case, Leon Kaworski, according to the White House. “It is my understanding that all pertinent material requested by Mr. Kaworski's office has been provided,” press secretary Gerald Warren said. Warren said there were confidential conversations between attorney James St. Clair and House Judiciary Committee staff about the committee's investigations, but she declined to answer who decides what material is needed. He added that Republican congressional leaders had not discussed impeachment proceedings against the president when they spoke with him for two hours. On the other hand, Donald Segretti, a former friend of Dwight Cahrin, Nixon's former secretary, declared that Chapin called him to make schemes against candidates for the presidential denomination of the Democratic Party during the 1972 election campaign, Segretti, the first witness in the trial for perjury to which Chapin is being subjected, stated that he was asked to sabotage the Democratic candidates, especially Senator Edmund Saaiuskei, the then favorite in that fight. Segretti said they explained to him that these activities were necessary because Democrats fight fiercely when selecting the candidate, but have a tendency to unite solidly later.

MINOR OFFENDERS SHOULD BE PUNISHED. There should be no more impunity for minors who commit serious crimes and a strong punishment proportional to the infraction committed against society should be applied to them, whose interest and defense should be above all, said deputy Policarpo Infante. It is feasible that the executive send a bill to Congress, because serious crimes committed by minors between the ages of 16 and 18 should not go unpunished. There must be a special type of justice for minors.
