In its latest financial report for the quarter ending December 2023, Nintendo says it sold 13.74 million nintendo switch. That brings the company's hybrid console to just over 139 million consoles sold in total.
According to sales forecasts, the Switch will reach 141.12 million by March 2024. That is, from April 1, 2023 to March 31, 2024, approximately 15.5 million consoles will have been moved.
At this rate, sales of the NS could surpass the numbers of the DS, which are 154 million and the 155 million of the PS2. The record of the Sony console has been going on for more than 10 years and it seems that it will finally come to an end.

What games are coming for the Nintendo Switch?
The users of Nintendo Switch will have another year with a good number of exclusive and multiplatform titles that will keep them busy. Confirmed we have Princess Peach: Showtime which could well steal the spotlight when it arrives in the first half of 2024.
Then comes the second DLC of Splatoon 3 which also has a good number of fans who could reactivate the single player of this acclaimed multiplayer. Other games that attract attention are Unicorn Overlord, Luigi's Mansion 2 HD, Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door and Mario vs. Donkey Kong.
