How much useless objects are there related to video games? Really a lot. Kitsch statues, unsuitable backpacks, posters that we wouldn’t even hang on the inside of our coffin. Sometimes the extra gadgets are very nice. Others really aren’t. The wine linked to Nier: Automata it is at least part of the interesting initiatives and with a minimum of personality, also from a marketing point of view.
We’ve been talking about them since last February, but now they have appeared in all their alcoholism. Naturally, wine is one of those products that must be tasted to determine its quality, but here the premises are curious to say the least. There is talk of aging inside oak barrels, and so far nothing strange. The peculiarity is that the wine was played the original soundtrack of Nier: Automata. Yes, a sound system was created to make him listen to it on repeat.
Music infused in wine
The price of wine is decidedly high, given that we’re talking about 80 dollars, and we sincerely hope that it doesn’t taste like 2B, i.e. cork (it’s still a robot), but the aging technique is definitely fun, even though it’s essentially a marketing gimmick, linked to the enormous success of the soundtrack, particularly in Japanese. If you are curious, the songs that were played to him are:
- The Sound of the End
- Rebirth & Hope
- Crumbling Lines (Ver1.1a)
- Girl’s Memories
- Weight of the World (Ver1.1a, English version)
Honestly, we don’t have the skills we can affirm or deny the effects of music on wine. However, we know that if you drink too much of it you will definitely hear music. Whether it’s the one from Nier: Automata or not, we can’t tell you.
