Recently there was a concert dedicated to NieR saga, by Square Enix. The London event wasn't directly related to video games, but according to one attendee, there may have been a teaser for one “third” main game by NieR.
Based on what has been reported, Yoko Taro he took the stage at the end of the concert, revealed that the president of Square Enix was present at the event and asked spectators to applaud if they wanted a sequel to NieR Automata. Obviously the audience made a lot of noise.
The real clue, however, is another. According to the source, during the concert the word REPENT appeared several times (the concert had its own internal narrative: we are talking about NieR, after all). At the last opportunity, however, the word was written R3PENTwith a three in place of the first E.
Clearly everything was considered by the source as a teaser. That doesn't mean it's true and it is possible that Yoko Taro played a bad joke on the fans, or that the source is not reporting correct information. However, we cannot do anything other than take note of what has been reported.
