In what was a reissue of Super Bowl LVI held last February, where Los Angeles Rams champions were proclaimed against the Cincinnati Bengalsnow it was the latter who got the thorn out, by beating their rivals, although it was a small rematch in preseason.
Both teams met in the last preparation match for the 2 teams, prior to the start of the 2022/2023 season of the National Football League (NFL), with the Bengals claiming victory 7-16.
Although practically none of the top stars of the teams were present, it was an opportunity for other elements that do not normally receive repetitions, to show themselves, such was the case with the quarterback Jake Browningwho finished with a touchdown pass, completing 19 of 24 passes for 173 yards.
Tight end Justin Rigg caught Browning’s only touchdown pass, while kicker Evan McPherson was the figure, by completing his 3 kicks, adding 10 points for himself.
Near the return
There are only 12 days left until the NFL gridirons officially return, precisely with the Los Angeles Rams opening the curtain as defending Super Bowl champions, with a real game against the Buffalo Bills on September 8 at SoFi Stadium, on the dot at 6:20 p.m. (Pacific time).
For their part, the Cincinnati Bengals have scheduled their first regular season game against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, September 11, at 11 a.m. Pacific Time.

A couple of days ago, the last day of the joint training camp between the Rams and the Bengals had to be canceled due to multiple on-field fights, one of them highly publicized involving 3-time Los Angeles Defensive Player Aaron Donald, who could be seen in a video on social media swinging with a rival case in his hand. The NFL does not have the authority to impose penalties in these cases, but the team does, something that has not happened or has not been announced so far.
