New beginning
Thielen’s records for the 2021 campaign were 726 receiving yards, 10 receiving touchdowns (sixth in the league and second personal best), and 67 receptions.
“It’s great (ankle), it feels good to be here and feel young again, and fresh, and not have to worry about my ankle,” Thielen said. “Not being there, it’s hard… I’m not going to take my replays here, because who knows when I’ll be done and won’t be able to play this game anymore“said the veteran catcher.
Kevin O’Connell was hired as the head coach of the Vikings after winning the Super Bowl title with Los Angeles Ramswhere he was the offensive coordinator for Sean McVayso he has an experience that trains him, and that has already given him the respect and admiration of his new players.
“When you hear the news (O’Connell being named head coach), you look back in history and you look back at what they (the Rams) did, and you’re excited, right? But then you walk in. here, you start to learn the system and you start to get into the field, really, when you get into the field and you start checking things out, you’re like man, this is fun this is excitingThielen added.
