Although a special presentation focused on the revelation of the PlayStation 5 Pronew reports claim that a State of Play would happen next week, where we would not only have a look at third-party titles, but also a couple of exclusives.
Last week, industry insider Jeff Grubb noted that a new State of Play would take place in about 12 days. Now, today, Grubb has spoken out again on the topic, saying that The next PlayStation presentation will happen exactly on September 24th, shortly before the Tokyo Game Show 2024 begins.
Notably, Grubb noted that at this State of Play it would be revealed Horizon Zero Dawn Remasteredwhich was registered with the ESRB today, but that would not be all, since another remaster that PlayStation is working on would also be revealed, one that it describes as “less exciting” than the work of Guerrilla Games.
Along with this, we are expected to get a look at some of the third party games in development, such as Monster Hunter Wilds and Dynasty Warriors Origins. For its part, PlayStation has remained silent on the matter.. In related topics, you can learn more about the remastering of Horizon Zero Dawn here. They also claim that the PS5’s PSSR will change the industry.
Author’s Note:
Another State of Play sounds like a nice idea, but at the same time it’s not something that’s needed much right now. September marks the end of the announcement season, so not many companies have secrets to reveal right away, but an event like this is always welcome.
